Required Initial PCA Training

The following trainings are required for all PCA and 245D staff before working independently and to remain compliant with Minnesota DHS requirements.

These trainings meet the initial PCA and 245D training requirements for direct care staff.

Enhanced Rate Training and Information

This training applies only to PCA staff who:

• Work with clients assessed for 10 or more PCA hours per day, and
• Are seeking Enhanced PCA reimbursement or training stipend.

CNA, LPN, and RN staff are exempt from this additional training.
